Major Paul Davis is a highly principled, dedicated man who often has the unenviable job of playing Devil's Advocate when it comes to matters pertaining to the Stargate program.  Davis does, however, have a great deal of respect for his colleagues at the SGC, and though he is technically there to provide liaison between the Pentagon and Hammond, he has joined forces with SG-1, actually working with Major Carter on one notable occasion to rescue Teal'c.  Actor Colin Cunningham is the classic 'California Boy', and raised in L.A.  He first appeared on stage as the result of a dare!  He now writes, directs, produces and acts (and also plays a mean saxophone and guitar).  In Stargate, Davis is the epitome of balanced professionalism.  He does have a lighter side, however ...

I just wanted to say what a pleasure it is playing 'Colin Cunningham' when I'm not here on the base.  Granted, when he's playing 'me', he gets to travel to distant parts of the galaxy and save the world.  But on the other hand, when I'm 'him', I get to meet all sorts of cool fans and get to hang out with JR Bourne. Whoo Hoo!
