Best Of Both Worlds 17
Feedback Letters

To Adele, Brian and the entire staff at BOBW.

I just wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, generosity and professionalism. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for such a warm and memorable convention experience. The reunion of friends met last year was sweetened all the more by the addition of even newer faces. I really do hope to see you all again.

And although my invitation this year fell under the most unique of circumstances, I very much appreciate your having my name at the top of the list. The beauty of BOBW is the fact that it is not a huge convention. (Not yet anyway) But its size is also the thing that lends itself to everyone getting to know one another on a more personal level. By the end of the weekend you almost feel as if you were at summer camp. A camaraderie is formed, friendships are made and memories take root in a place that few 'celebrities' expect to find them, a 'Fan Convention'. Trust me on that.

There were also those of you who welcomed my friend Sharla Wood to Sydney with such open hearts, again my gratitude. It was an experience that she will remember always. She knows nothing of the 'tv show/convention thing' and was overwhelmed by the warmth and generosity shown to her. Thank you for that. It meant a lot to me.

I also wanted to point out that although the convention business can be quite competitive, never once have I ever heard any of you speak ill of any other convention promoter or convention. Not only does this uphold the bar of professionalism in my opinion, but it also speaks volumes to the spirit of this particular Con and to those who put it all together. BOBW is a class act.

But I suppose the biggest thanks should be reserved for Michael Shanks and Christopher Judge, who by accident or twist of fate, were unable to make it this year. Thanks guys, you missed a good one and by default granted me far more than my appearance fee.

BOBW is one of a kind.

Many thanks.

Sincerely,

Colin Cunningham
