Angela Bennett received an email that contained classified information on the
Praetorian Guard mission. The Praetorians were not sure how much she knew about
their criminal organization, so they assigned a team of highly trained
operatives to pursue Angela. The team erased her identity. She had no credit
cards, no bank accounts, no money, no past as Angela Bennett. There was no
digital record of her existence anywhere. They replaced her persona with the
identity of an international criminal, Elizabeth Marx, and framed her with the
murder of Tilly Sarakalean. Until now, she has managed to elude authorities.
By aiding in the defeat of the Praetorians, Angela and Sorcerer are captured
by the FBI and offered a deal. Angela is asked to join the newly formed Center
for Intrusion Control, (C.I.C.) a team headed by agent Walter Cizelski. This
agency is dedicated to policing cyber-space by detecting and responding to
cyber-crimes.
