:: Synopsis ::

 

In the post-Depression town of Alma, Arizona, a preacher is given ten minutes to try to save a condemned black farmhand's soul before he is "legally lynched". In the intense and emotional confrontation that follows, the preacher's own faith is shaken after the prisoner uncovers a disturbing truth. The surprising revelation forces the preacher to examine the meaning of his own life.

Dick Fisher (producer of THE BROTHERS McMULLEN) directs this film noir tale of race prejudice and personal redemption.
